From Senior to Graduate {sniff}

Wow.
Jesse is no longer a high schooler.

He's officially a graduate,
an alum of North Hall.

The end of a season.
So much emotion!!

Graduation was held at Free Chapel.
GREAT facility,
huge worship center,
perfect set up.

Tam had the hook up with seats,
as one of her dearest friends is in charge of the event each year.

We were sitting in the perfect spot to take it all in.

Jess had quite the cheering section -
the whole fam was there (minus the kiddos - no room!).

Waiting in line to get in Free Chapel
(there was another graduation before this one)

Ummmm, yeah ... that's the line to get in.
Are we sure this isn't Disneyworld??!

Jesse's cheering section -
notice Jordan posing!  Stinker!

Walking in - the camera focused on the lady in black
instead of him, but you can still see him.
And he'd NEVER, EVER dare to make eye contact with us.
Way too embarrassing!

Getting his diploma.

And filing back out ...

Proud parents

With the fam

With Nana & O

With Rob's parents

Yep - super proud of him!

Rob's brother, Chris & his wife Kelly

Rob's sister Angie and her husband, Chris

With Aunt Beck

After the ceremony,
we headed back to the house where more friends joined us to celebrate.
Love that Bowdie's parents came to congratulate Jesse!

He went into a complete silly mode -
some kind of model pose here ...

The den was basically what Rob called a 'shrine' ...
they did a great job pulling out old memorabilia and pics
and putting them everywhere!

After we enjoyed some BBQ and fixings,
Jess got to open his first (and BEST) graduation gift!

A new truck!
The maroon Yukon bit the dust (literally!)
so this college-bound boy needed a new set of wheels.
Perfect!

One happy boy.
Looking forward to college days
and more baseball games!

Onto the next season ...

{ANOTHER} Senior Night!

Hard to believe that Jesse's senior year is winding down.
Quickly.

We celebrated another senior night - this time for baseball.

It was a big win ... and a fun night!

Love these signs they had hanging on the press box ...

National anthem ...

Warming up ...

Final score ...

Giving his mama some flowers.
She deserves them.  And more!

Trent Mongero ... head coach.
(note:  the longer hair in the back is the new rage, it seems.
I've been informed it's called 'baseball flo' ... looks like a mullet to me!)

He was given a framed poster ...
several pictures of him in action on the field!

Duane Daniels,
one of the assistant principals at the high school ...

T had to check it out!
Rob was concentrating really hard to be sure his eyeballs
didn't 'sweat.'

Jess & his senior buddies

The underclassmen moms set up a memory table -
some of the cutest pics of Jesse were on there!

Jess loved his cowboy boots & hat.
He even had a plastic horse on springs that he rode!

His first season playing ...
at Hebron on the Rangers.
Adorable.

With the grandparents ...
love that they are so supportive of him!

Yeah - I think he most definitely had the most fans there.
Hands down.  Even Bowdie's parents came - love that!

Way to go Jesse!

Jess's Senior Night - Football

Even though he never played a play ...

even though he never even dressed out ...

even though he watched from the sideline all season ...

he was still a part of the team.

And to celebrate, he stood on the field with his teammates for senior night.

So proud of his commitment!

That's Micah on the left ... love them talking during warm-ups!

Cutest cheerleader, hands down, on the field.
Love the ball cap!

Doesn't my sister look snazzy??!!
That girl can shop and find an outfit ...

Strategic shot - field name in background.

Coach Christmas

NHHS principal

Pre-game ... even Beck came in for the festivities!

The weather was seriously miserable.
Rainy.  Cold.  Windy.
I ended up in the car with Jacob for the last quarter.
But all these pictured rode it out for Jess.
We love him!

Cousins ...
love how our boys wanted to wear their Trojan jerseys
that were, of course, hand-me-downs from the Stricklands!
