Sweet Summertime!

I LOVE SUMMER!

No schedules to keep,

no places to be,

stay up late,

get up late ...

fun times!

Nat'l Doughnut Day at Krispy Kreme

on June 1st ...

We had several rainy days in a row so the kids

got together and learned a song & choreographed it ...

all parents had to have a ticket to attend!

Blaine found all kinds of things to do while Jarrett 

had his baseball games.

This is how I found him one night ...

he was retrieving a ball that was stuck in the fence!

Jesse played on Team Georgia in a tourney in Oklahoma ...

so thankful for technology to watch him play!

Not quite as much of this going on as necessary ...

but happy for 20 minutes a day!

A bit of crafting one morning ...

And, of course, our season tickets to the Gwinnett Braves.

It was H.O.T. this particular night!!

But always good family time!

Stone Mountain

Sometimes last minute plans are the best.

Our friend, Catherine, called me to let me know they were in town.

She had a few hours on a Monday morning and wanted us to get together.

So we decided to tackle Stone Mountain!

Our kids have never climbed it and it's on our Summer To Do List,

so it was a great time to get it done ...

we had great conversation!!
