There has been MAJOR work done on the interior of the house for the last 2 weeks. We've had to make some major decisions (trim, paint, decking, just to name a few) and I've told Bowdie more than once that my brain really hurts! Too much thinking involved! Our builder's wife, Deb, has been an invaluable resource for paint colors, ceiling colors, trim colors - UGHHHH colors, colors, colors!!!! I'm extremely pleased with our palette and I think it's going to look really nice. Here are some photos of our newly built fireplaces/hearths. We LOVE them. They are just as we had hoped! Check it out and come on by this winter to warm up or roast a marshmallow or two!
The one above is in the den, the one below is on our covered porch. Hopefully it will get cold enough to use both this winter!
