Okay, this happened a while back, but I'm just now getting it posted! We have our cabinets in! Hooray! They look great. These pictures aren't even as up to date as they need to be because now we have our vent hood and upper cabinets in as well. I'll post some of those pictures later on this week - can't get inside the house for the next 3 days because they are staining the floors!
This is my small island and then you can see what will be the cooktop behind (against the wall). There is now a black distressed vent hood above the cooktop and there are drawers underneath. It makes it look totally different!
Here is what we call our 'sink island' - for obvious reasons, because our sink is in it! It's been a little confusing since we really have 2 islands, so we're trying our best to keep them seperate! We now have our granite countertops in also, which gives the kitchen a whole new look! I'll post new pictures ASAP!!! You can barely see a glimpse of our test stain colors in the middle far right of the above picture. We are going with a rich walnut color to match the beadboard ceiling in the kitchen. Can't wait to see it finished!!
