Okay, for those that are from the north, please forgive this post. I know that Yankees think us southerners are RIDICULOUS when it comes to cold weather . . . however, we don't get that much below freezing temps, so it IS a big deal when it happens! We've had highs yesterday in the 20s and today it was in the teens when we woke up. So our little lake is iced over for the first time we've ever seen! We love it . . . nice warm fire . . . beautiful sunshine outside . . . and an ice covered lake to boot. Please note it is a very thin coat of ice and we will not be allowing Blaine "Dare Devil" Jenkins outdoors today for fear that he may think he can walk on water . . . you can see the far side of the lake where the water is a little darker - that part's still unfrozen . . . hope the fishy's are okay!!! :)
