Jacob has had a wonderful year in children's choir at our church. This has been his first year and he has thrived! Of course, he had an amazing teacher, Joy Anderson. She was also Blaine's first choir teacher, which is neat. They did all sorts of fun things this year, including bringing in food for the food pantry and actually delivering it one week during class. They also made all types of crafts, lots of them with actual pictures on Jacob on them, which I love! Joy did such a great job of making choir focused on praising the LORD but then doing other things that worship Him as well. We'll definitely miss her next year! They had their final performance the Sunday night after we ran the half-marathon. Here are some fun pictures ...
Mrs. Joy, his teacher. Angie Burke, Amy Rooks, and Kimberly Swanson were helpers and were fabulous too!
Singing and using motions ..
Jacob was intense!
This was my favorite song. I can't remember what it was called, but it was all about how God created every part of his body. It was adorable, but such a powerful message as well.
We're looking forward to next year, when he'll get to sing in 'big' church when his class performs ... he's gonna love it!
