Goodbyes are so much easier when you know its only for a short time. That hasn't been the case for the last several of our friends that have moved away. But thankfully it IS the case this time! Ben & Amy Hartsock are members of our mentor group from Sunday School, but they have quickly become friends as well. Ben's job has caused them to move quite a few times in the last few years and we are so thankful it landed them in our neck of the woods! We loved being able to watch Ben play for the Falcons, so you can imagine how sad we were when he was released earlier this month. The NY Jets scooped him up by the end of that day, so off the Hartsock's go to live in NJ for football season. We're so thankful that they have decided to keep Dacula as their home and we look forward to a fun homecoming in January!
us & Ben & Amy ... this is the friend that introduced Bowdie to dirtbike riding and
Durhamtown ...
This is Ben's get up at the 'going away' game night ... since he'd been to NY that week, he felt he had to show off his style ... niiiiiiiiiiiiice!
All of us got together and made a memory board for them to take along for the next 4 months ... I think they liked it!
Ben & Amy with Chad & Mandy ... the Hendersons were so great to introduce Ben & Amy to everyone when they first arrived last year ...
All the girls ... good times (bad picture ... don't know what's going on with my camera here!)
Where the kids all end up when we get together ... in their playroom ... this is a 'dog-pile Mrs. Christa' session ... :)
