Not only was February 13th one of the best snow days we've had, but it was also Jacob's 5th bday and his party as well. He's very much into all things superhero, so we HAD to have a superhero party! He invited some of his best buddies and we once again enjoyed the unfinished basement to have 'superhero training camp.' Most came dressed in their favorite costume. We made superhero wristbands and then had different centers to work on their super powers - there was a long jump, pullups, weight lifting, and jumping over a stick. It was adorable! Each superhero earned a homemade cape (thanks to Nana!) with their initial on it ... so fun!
Here they are (l to r): Brody Brookshire, Nicholas Wiley, Luke Henderson, Kallie Henderson, Jacob, Ty Warbington, Cole Henderson, Will Mock, & Conner Hilton
The cutest power ranger around!

All of the superheros in their capes ... funny note: most of the fabric my mom used was remnants of either one of mine or my sister's homecoming or prom dresses ... ahhh - the memories! one cape was even made from a bridesmaid dress that my mom wore in her sister's wedding - wow!!! :)
Sweet shot of us with Jacob ...
Jacob ordered up a chocolate/chocolate cake ... DELISH! the little superheros on it are from one of his matching games - they worked perfectly!
thanks to Papa for this great photo - love his little lips!
all his buds watching him unwrap gifts -
total excitement - a gift card! he LOVES them! actually he loves using his wallet!
