O S A R!! (read: oh yes they are!) So ... Nana thought it would be a fun thing this year to surprise the grandkids with pets. She had been 'threatening' to do this for several Easters, but thankfully held off until both my family and my sister's family lived in a place more suitable for animals. Of course, all of this was still a big surprise to EVERYONE ... Nana was a bit nervous we would never forgive her! We have, the kids are happy and we have temporary guests at our home!

Blaine had to look in the tree by the pool ... the tree that he climbs to the very top of in the summer time!
Jacob's egg was in the treehouse ...
Each egg had a letter ... the kids had to lay the letters out to spell a mystery word ...
They were working hard ...
and the letters spelled Q-U-A-C-K-E-R-S ... so the kiddos ran to the garage and found ...

All 7 of them ... we have a solid black one, and 2 yellow and black ones ... Blaine named his 'Blackman' (like Batman because he's all black), Jarrett named his Hunter (which was a nice change from his original, but appropriate, name of Pooper), and Jacob named his Gus Gus ... we'll keep you updated on their progress!
How fun was that egg hunt for the kids?! They will remember that forvever :) Sooo...how do you raise ducklings?
