Saturday, March 27th. Our boys may not remember the date, but they will definitely remember the event. We were finally able to locate and give them a dirtbike! Bowdie had been looking on craigs list, but hadn't pulled the trigger yet. So he was asking around people he knew that might possibly have one to sell. Sure enough, a friend from church said he had one. Bowdie offered to buy it ... but the friend refused ... he said he'd give it to us for FREE! Wow - talked about blessed! Bowdie had to do a little late night repair work to it, as it hadn't run in over a year, but once he did, it worked like a charm! The boys are loving it ... and learning some good lessons on patience & sharing in the process!
We made the boys wait at the driveway as Bowdie pulled it out of the basement ... Blaine knew immediately what was waiting around back!

Being the oldest, Jarrett got the first ride ... this caused a few tears in Blaine, but they quickly subsided when I told him that on his turn, he'd get a longer ride ... he then hopped on his four wheeler and followed Jarrett as he rode ...
Blaine went straight for the bumps ... the boy smiled right up to bedtime and told me it was better than Christmas! Good times ahead!
