DAA (Dacula Athletic Association) had a fundraiser selling tickets to a Gwinnett Braves game. Of course we participated ... we had to do our part! It was a fun Sunday afternoon game ... there was a parade beforehand (which we missed because of church) and then, as they do on all Sunday games, the kids get to run the bases and throw on the field after the game. Fun was had by all!

Team Jenkins at Coolray Field ...
(Blaine was mad that we were taking precious time for pictures when the line was forming to throw on the field!)

Stu & Riley came with us ... of course, everyone wanted to sit with Uncle Stu (the reasons will become apparent in a sec) ...

Uncle Stu is tall and can catch a foul ball no problem ...

... and Uncle Stu is a sucker for a kid (especially a nephew) whining that he's thirsty ... good job, Uncle Stu!

This is the view of the field from our seats ... our season ticket seats are right smack between home and first IN THE SHADE ... did I say that it was extremely hot this day??!! I looked longingly at our seats all afternoon ... I should thank Chuck (the one responsible for our great seats) for picking cooler seating ...

Riley, Jarrett & Carson (Jarrett's buddy from school) ....

Of course Jarrett's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Wilber, was there ... she has 2 girls that are HEAVY into softball ... she and her hubby coach ...

Running the bases after the game ... no surprise that Blaine-o's in the lead, with Jarrett right behind and Jacob rounding 2nd ...

The boy's got flair ... and lots of it!

This one is all about seriousness ... we must respect the sport!

And this little cutie? He's just figurin' it all out ... and loving every minute ...
