P-A-R-T-Y!

Birthday parties around our house have definitely evolved with age.

I used to take all kinds of time planning, picking a theme,
coming up with fun games & goodies ...

Not anymore!
At least with Jarrett anyway ...

He totally planned his own party this year.
My only contribution was the 'craft', which ended up being too
tricky & time consuming for the boys anyway!

It was a fun, spend-the-night event,
complete with pizza, coke and all things unhealthy.

Fun times!

A little after school snack was waiting for the boys when they arrived.
Trail mix and lemonade ...

Jarrett sported his shirt that we made last year at his party.
(which he ended up changing because he said it just wasn't comfortable!)

All the boys ...

Carsen, getting ready to peg someone with the wiffle ball ...
they came up with a big game of dodge ball.

Gathering ammo ...

Andy is ready!

Kickball just before dark ...

Dinner of pizza, chips & dip, and coke ... yummy!

Andrew - known since preschool; goes to Mulberry

Jonathon - friend from our church

Jacob - Mulberry friend

Austin - Mulberry friend

Riley - cousin

Carson - Mulberry friend

Carsen - friend from our old church & also fellow baseball teammate

Will - friend since birth ... literally.

Andy - because his family had to temporarily reside in the Warbington's basement,
he & Jarrett became fast friends;  he also goes to Mulberry

Ready for a game of manhunt ...
it was cold ... brrrrrr!

The party favors, made by me and Bowdie.
That is actual stitching cut off a baseball and made into a bracelet.
Got the idea from pinterest ... LOVE that site!

Double doozey birthday cookie,
thanks to Nana!

Pancakes the next morning ...
went to sleep around midnight; woke up around 7 a.m.
Look a little tired, huh?!

Great friends, fun times!
