Jones Family Christmas

Such a fun day-after-Christmas gathering ...
we had a very non-traditional meal:  Low Country Boil!

Mom normally makes that on our family beach trip,
but since that is non-existent now (boo!)
she made it for Christmas!
Deeeee-lish!

After lunch, gifts!

Isn't this a great pic of Lena & her daddy?!

Jacob finally got his own blanket made by Nana ...
he loves it!
I will refrain from making any comment about the fact that he is
almost 7 and the others got their's much earlier in life!
Great job Nana!!

Stocking stuffers for the guys - match looking lighters ...
Rob had fun acting like he was at a concert ...

... which Mom thought he was hysterical.
It actually was ... :)

Two thumbs up from the parents for the Keurig!

I did a little origami for part of Micah's gift ...

I gave both the girls a little bracelet that says 'believe' and then a
frame full of Bible verses telling what God says they should believe about themselves.

T got some UGA flip-flops from me ...
they are right up her alley!

Dad bought Jess a wooden bat with his name burned on it.
Pretty cool!

Mom gave T this little purse -
that is SO my sister!

Dad (which actually was T) gave Mom some winter white pants
 that she's been hunting for.

Don't really know why Jake is sniffing them!

Micah, doing his best impersonation of Jordy's 'hip' pose ...

Aunt Beck's going to have to start moving to the front
or standing on a box!

Then the Strickland's had to leave early to make their trek to Orlando
for Jesse's baseball tourney.

We stayed and Blaine found something fun to do ...

He found this piano app on my iPad ...
he learned to play Twinkle Twinkle on it.

Really well, I might add.

Then he had the smart idea of propping the iPad up
in such a way that he could play the song on the real piano.

That kid is brilliant! :)

It was a wonderful day -
time with family is never wasted!
