Happy Birthday Dr. Suess!
Mulberry celebrated by having a reading day ...
the kids could wear p.j.'s, bring blankets & books
and read, read, read all day!
I love this day because I get to read to the boys' classes.
One of my all time favs - I read it to each of their classes EVERY year -
(Jarrett's class even let me read it to them - they loved it!)
Seriously cute book with a seriously great message ...
JUST BE YOURSELF!!
(I've literally had this book since the first year I taught -
it's completely ratty-tatty with the cover falling off! Lots of love!)
I read to Blaine's class first ...
... then Jacob's ...
... Dr. Suess hat treats were enjoyed ...
(thank you Pinterest!)
yummm ....
... and finally Jarrett's class ...
