Field Day(s)!

The end of the year always gets a bit crazy.

Lots of fun things to do ...

one of the staples of the spring is field day.

This year, all 3 boys had it on 3 separate days.

Which sounds like a bummer,

but I was really glad.

In years past, at least 2 of them have had it on the same day.

That sounds so efficient, but the field is HUGE,

the grades are on opposite ends,

and the weather's usually really hot.

Running across a large field, in the hot weather,

lugging a camera = exhaustion!

Blaine's was Monday -

since Jarrett's on student council, 

he got to be a helper ... love seeing him in this role!

Jacob's was on Tuesday.

They had stations set up and spent 15 minutes at each.

Pulling with all his might!

Jarrett's was on Wednesday.

Actually, it was re-scheduled to Wednesday

from a Friday rain-out.

The weather was still a little soggy

and the rain ended up coming and cutting their field day by about 30 minutes.

My oldest has a clothing fetish -

not so much how they look (although he does care)

but how they feel and fit.

Notice the dri-fit shirt on under the field day shirt.

A must.

and UnderArmor stuff to us.  Has made for a very happy 10 year old.
