YAHOOOO!! We have progress at The Cleft! Actually, there has been a lot of progress, but most of it lately has been paperwork and behind the scenes things. Now we're moving dirt and can see some things change! They started grading yesterday for the shared drive. This is the view from Hayes Road. You can see the large evergreen tree on the left side of the drive and then the large hardwood past it. That's our lot. It's exciting to see what it's going to look like as we start to build. The asphalt is supposed to be laid (I've learned, thanks to my brother-in-law that you don't 'pour' asphalt!!) on Monday, but of course, there's a 70% chance of rain tomorrow, Sunday, so that may be pushed further in the week. We'll see! But praise the LORD for this little glimpse of what's to come! We'll hopefully get our final draft of our house plan in the next 2 weeks and then we're off to the races! Or actually, down in the dirt!! More later . . .
