It wouldn't be Fall without The Fair!!

It's the official sign of Fall . . . the Gwinnett County Fair! Last year was the first year we went as a family and the boys still remember how much fun it was. Jarrett got a free ticket and ride pass from school, so we went tonight. It was a blast! We enjoyed a nice, healthy (haha!!!) dinner at Sonic and then headed to the Fairgrounds about 5:30. It was the perfect night - cool weather and sunny! We enjoyed the animals being shown first, then went inside to the exhibits where Bowdie told me about his Granny always entering her tomatoes in the vegetable judging. Great memories! It certainly wasn't a cheap night by any means - but we made a memory for our family and that's priceless!!
Here's the Team - taken by Rea Queen, who we saw with her hubby, Kevin, and sweet little girls, Camden and Raleigh. Notice our 'treats' for the night - there's nothing like a funnel cake at the fair and the boys enjoyed their chocolate ice cream cones immensely!

Jarrett on the flour sack slide. They did this one twice!

Blaine-o on the slide - he loved it!

This is my favorite picture EVER! I was snapping like mad just hoping I'd get the boys as they came around - can you tell Jarrett's a bit of a ham???

Look at the sweet smile on Blaine's face - he had a blast!

Here they are ready to go! Jarrett did a great job of watching out for Blaine on the rides -

Here are Jacob and I on the Merry Go Round. He was so proud!

Here are the boys on the bumble bee ride. They remembered this one from last year and wanted to ride it first thing this year.

Jacob wanted to ride a real pony, so that was his special treat for the night!

Here I am trying to explain to the big boys why they can't ride the real ponies (at $5 a pop, I had to think fast!) They understood once I told them that Jacob was probably too little to ride the ticketed rides, but that they would be able to.

Here are Bo and the boys enjoying Mayfield chocolate milk, a freebie at the 4H Petting Zoo!

Here are the boys petting the baby ducks. They were so cute!

They loved seeing the newly hatched ducklings -

What a fun night!!! God is good!
