So here we go ... the next season of life ... BASEBALL! We've put it off as long as possible, but the time has come. And we are so excited about it! I love it because it was such an integral part of Bowdie's growing up memories. He has so many friends that he can say, 'hey, we played ball together when we were 6 or 9 or 14.' So fun! Bowdie passed the coaching interview and was chosen to head coach, so we are thrilled about that too. The Warbington's decided to let Will play at Dacula this year, so he and Jarrett are on the same team and Chuck is helping Bowdie coach, along with our good friend, Matt Pognant.
Here are some cute pictures from a couple of weeks ago - evaluation day. The boys had to go the park and hit, run and catch in front of all the head coaches so that they could rank them for the draft. Needless to say, Jarrett was PUMPED and thrilled to wear his JD hat and matching shirt (thanks Cavorettos!) that he got for his 6th bday.
This is Jarrett's best buddy and next door neighbor, Will.
Bo's been waiting for this day since Jarrett was born - I'll admit I got a little teary eyed when I took this picture!
And here's Mr. Superstar . . . he's ready to play, ready to practice, ready to learn. We'll see how it goes!
