Last Thursday our middle one, Blaine, turned 6. We celebrated the traditional way - Bowdie made him a #6 pancake and his initials, we took goodies to school for him to share with his friends, and we let him choose the meal that evening (nachos - 'just chips and cheese, Mom'). Man ... 6 years old! Life is SO good! No, God is SO good!

This is Blaine with some buddies from his class. He wanted to bring sprinkle Krispy Kreme doughnuts for his treat, so that's what we did! They were a hit!

Here he is with his special pancakes made by Daddy. He was so proud to use the 'you are special today' plate!

Here's his gift from us - a new baseball glove just like Jarrett's. He was SO excited to get this. It's been hard for him to watch Jarrett get to play, but next year he'll get to join the fun!

Jarrett read his bday card to him before he opened his gift.
GREAT days are ahead!

I *LOVE* the picts of Jarrett reading to the boys . . . special memories!
