The last weekend in April we had a great visit from Aunt Beck. Many of you have asked if she really is the boys' aunt ... well, she's not a blood relative, but she is definitely a part of the family! She moved to the great state of Texas 4 (is that right??) years ago and is serving as director of a ministry out there that houses young, unwed, pregnant teens. We're so proud of her obedience to the LORD to take her to such a spacious place ... and He's blessed her there for sure! (although we secretly hope that He sends her back here before long!)
Anyway, she came in to catch Jarrett in one of his baseball games (she cried his first at bat) and then she also was able to make it to one of my nephew, Micah's, games as well. She wanted to catch my other nephew, Jesse, playing, but his game was at the same time as Jarrett's.
We also 'let' (haha!) her take all 3 boys to a G-Braves game. We had tickets that Saturday night and she is a huge sports fan, so we thought we'd 'let' her take the boys to their first minor league game. I think it was a fun night ... although Jacob had to apologize to the lady in front of him several times for kicking her ... seems he had a problem sitting still and being quiet. SHOCKER! Bowdie and I enjoyed an unexpected date night! Yahoo!
Anyway, her visits are always fun and we look forward to each time she comes!
