Sunday with the Gwinnett Braves ...

I realize now that I haven't done a post on the Gwinnett Braves!  This is their inaugural season and we were so blessed to go in with several other families and purchase season tickets.  We are thoroughly enjoying the games ... they have such a 'hometown' feel and have a much different atmosphere than a major league game.  Jarrett, as you can imagine, has especially loved each and every one.  We have terrific seats on the first base side of home plate and an added bonus is that we are in the shade whether the game is at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m.  Nice in 90+ degree weather!

Last Sunday was the first time we've had tickets on a Sunday game.  The neat thing about Sunday games is that they let the kids run the bases after the game and then they give each child a ball to go in the outfield and throw.  Because we had also gone Saturday night to a game, I opted out of this one and Jacob and I stayed home to rest.  Our good friend, Matt, and then Bowdie, Jarrett and Blaine, went.  They enjoyed the game, but they enjoyed the field time even more ... adults included!

LOVE this picture of Bowdie and the boys ... good job, Matt!

Mr. Matt threw some pop-ups to the boys ...

Jarrett, in dramatic fashion, pretending to eat the wall in an attempt to make a game winning catch!  Love it!
