Last month, Jarrett had a book report project due for his class. Projects are NOT my favorite thing ... especially when it's left up to us how to do the report! But Jarrett was really excited about it. He picked a book we read together during the summer, 'Nim's Island.' We decided to make a salt dough map of the island. Jarrett loved it! He mixed up the dough and shaped it, then painted it to look like the island when it dried. He ended up getting a 100 on the project and having it displayed in the media center - he was pumped!!
