... to the Drakes house they go! So, right before Thanksgiving week, the boys came home from school on a Friday and decided to play outside. Not abnormal at all, especially considering the weather was really nice. After a while, they come and ask if they can go see the cows that are beyond the gate and in the woods. Since Wesley and Will were going too, I said it was fine. Stacey and I enjoyed the afternoon, sitting in the driveway, watching the other kids jump on the trampoline and play. Then we realize that it's been at least 45 minutes since we've seen the big boys. About that time, Stacey's phone rings. It's our friend, Rob Drake, saying the boys are at his house!!! Really, it was not a far walk for them ... less than a mile through the woods and in their neighborhood, but for them to find the Drake's house and actually get there ... I was amazed! Seems they wanted to see the 2 labs that the Drakes have. They played with the dogs and Rob sent them on their way back home. They made it just fine ... with walking sticks in hand and lots of scratches on their legs!
Don't they look like quite the crew??!!
