It's become our Cleft tradition to host a teacher appreciation picnic at the end of the year. Each of the kids' teachers are invited, from preschool up to middle school. We also invite the specials teachers (PE, Music, Art, Math) as well as the administration. It's a fun way to do something a little special for the ones that have invested 6+ hours a day, 5 days a week, for a whole year in our kiddos. Our theme this year was cowboy and we served BBQ and the fixings. A great time was had by all and we've even had former teachers ask if they could come, even if they didn't have a Cleftie currently in their class! That says it all!!
The kids wrote notes on the asphalt with chalk ... it was like one huge chalkboard!
The favors ... a steak rub mix ... the tags read 'for all the wonderful ways you've 'rubbed' off on us, we say thank you!' ... they turned out super cute!
Mrs. Palazzo, Riley Catherine's teacher, checking out the infamous ducks ...
Some of the teachers ...
Some more of the teachers ...
Some of the Clefties + teachers' kids ...
Enjoying some BBQ and conversation ...
These are all Mulberry folks ... so glad that they like to come!
More Clefties ...
