Each year, Mulberry Elementary has 'Reflections' ... which are student projects in different art areas based on a certain, picked theme. Students from all over the county participate. Each year the theme is different. This is not a project that we usually participate in because it is not required. This year, however, because Jarrett is in the FOCUS program, he had to do one.
After much talking and throwing around of ideas, he chose 'Together We Can Be A Family.' He chose to use photography to illustrate this theme. He was thrilled to use my new camera to capture his photos! So he picked out families to take pictures of, emailed them to set up times for a shoot, and then positioned and took all the photos you'll see. I think he did a great job ... looks like we have another pathological picture taker in the family!
Oh - the finished product turned out great, but a photo of that is not included ... he ended up using Walmart's website to create a collage of the pictures. So proud of his hard work.
