A Morning at Washington Farms

Nothing like a visit to the pumpkin patch to ring in the fall season! The kindergarten at Mulberry went to Washington Farms as their first field trip.

Since it was Jacob's first field trip ever, I had to be there.

And was very happy to be.

SIDE NOTE: The last time Jacob went to Washington Farms in Watkinsville, he was in utero. Jarrett was just 3 and Blaine 2. I can almost remember it like it was yesterday. Which is really surprising seeing all the brain cells that I've lost in my 38 years!

Mrs. Clay's class ...

Kindergarten buddies in another class ... Nicholas & Will Mock & their moms ...

On the hay ride ...

Looking at the bunnies ...

The pig was the biggest hit ... his belly literally touched the ground.
(made me feel really thin ...)

Checking out the baby goats ...

Making a friend ...

Washing off all the animal germs ...

Listening to Mrs. Washington talk about how pumpkins grow ...

And homeschooling their 5 kiddos ... and how 2 are overseas on mission! Wow!

Jacob's perfect pumpkin ....
