Thanksgiving Day 2010

It was a beautiful day.

We enjoyed time with each other and with extended
family as well.

My dad's brother and his whole family came.
Such a treat to get to see our cousins
and now their children.

We had a great time of eating and catching up.

Jess making some sweet tea ...

Deep frying the turkey ...
there's really no better way to cook it ...

Rob slicing the fried turkey ... mmmmmmmm ...

The kid table on the porch ... because that was the only place with enough room!
And it sure did make for nice,
relaxed conversation inside!

My cousin Sy and his wife Holly, along with their boys
Cade & Cannon ...

My Uncle Bob & Aunt Sandra, with my other 2 cousins,
Cory and Taylor.

After dark we had a fire and made s'mores ...
kinda non-traditional.
I like it!  So did everyone else.

Taylor takin' care of business.
That fire was intense!

Amazingly, I was able to get the kiddos to stop long enough for
a group shot.  This was in the middle of their man-hunt game.

And one more kid shot on that swing.
That swing is older than me.
If it could talk, it would have LOTS to say!

So blessed.  Love my family!
