Time for Tea!

I'm not sure how it started.
But I love hostessing a Christmas tea
each year with my mom and my sister.

It's fun to choose a theme each year.
And now we've started having all our
kids make crafts that go with the theme,
which my mom always displays on the table.

It makes for a nice, relaxing morning
in the midst of a very busy time of year.

Our theme this year was mittens.
I scored these cute felt mitten ornaments at Michaels,
Mom filled them with hand-type products and
hung them on this tree.
Fun tea favors!

Cute, huh??!

The Fab Five ...
love the matching shirts, bought together
the day after Thanksgiving on our
annual shopping trip in Albany.

T and her girls ...

Me and some of my buds ...
Kelly, Jill & Mandy.
Love these girls.

Angie & Jordan ...
not a shock that they are related.
Never realized how much they favor!

Lena & Olivia.
Cousins and friends.
Sweet.

Katie Beth took a while to warm up.
But she eventually did.
See bottom of post for proof.

My friend Heather, with Angie and Rhonda.
Love the mix of ages ...
my friends, Tamara's and mom's.

And these are my mom's best buds.
Pam & Vickie.
C-R-A-Z-Y.
Can you tell?

Serious pose.
Or at least as serious as you
can get with Cindy Loo-Who hair
in the middle ...

Ah yes.
This is more like it.
Surprise.  Shock.  Awe.
All things felt when around these
ladies.  Really.
Only person missing is their other bud Ginny.
She had already left when I shot all this.
Intentionally, maybe??!!

Mom and Aunt Jenny ...
so glad she came!

Mrs. Pat in serious convo with
Mrs. Grace.

See?? Told you Katie Beth warmed up!

Me & my sweet neighbors/friends,
Stacey & Christa.
