Climbing the Walls!

Blaine-o celebrated his 8th birthday

on the 12th.

EIGHT YEARS!!!

REALLY??!!

Then ... this was his 3rd birthday ...

(thankful for the candles on the cake

 to help me out with that!

And those cheeks ... I want to bite them!)

Now ... 

(I'm in a puddle right now ...

amazing how quickly you forget those toddler days!)

Because we had just returned from the cruise,

we actually paid and had his party

at a local place called

'Adrenaline Climbing.'

This worked perfectly for us ...

basically all we had to do was show up.

They took care of the rest.

Blaine had 5 friends, plus his brothers.

The boys did a great job climbing ...
I think we were all worn out by the end!

It was fun that his birthday actually

fell on his birthday party day this year ...

doesn't happen too often!

Thankfully, they let me pay $5

for Jacob to just slide the whole time ...

he's inherited his daddy's distaste of heights!

He was completely satisfied!

so surprised that Nana didn't suit up

and climb as well.

I feel quite sure she thought about it.

chairs to flip back down ...

so then it became a challenge to

try and get the chairs to flip back down.

Who needs to climb to have fun??!
