Basement Progress ... {{squeal!}}

So, so happy to be making progress on the basement.

The project officially started last December.

Bo worked on and off on it throughout the year.

But we've finally buckled down,

hired a couple of guys,

and are doing our very best to complete it, Lord willing.

First up was completing the framing.

This is the view as you walk into the basement through the den door.

Bowdie is busy putting down paper to protect the cement from the sheetrock mud to come.

(we are staining the concrete so sheetrock mud on it is a NO NO)

Looking across the den is the kitchen, eating area.

The door all the way across goes into the bedroom.

Another view from the den into the kitchen.

The far right wall is where the cabinetry, frig, stove, sink will go.

There will be a large island in that area as well.

Through the doorway on the right is the exercise room (woohoo!).

So happy to see this guy -

with a bunch of sheetrock!
