Closing Ceremonies

As with everything else, closing ceremonies were top notch.
The teams all marched back in the stadium, like they did for opening ceremonies.

And as they marched across the field,
they got their Cooperstown ring.

This was a big deal to the team.
They were looking forward to the ring!

Coach and his wife ... closing out the week.

The teams marching in from the barracks area ...
love seeing them all in their uni's!

Ran into this cutie while taking pics.
He's with the Delaware team that we played in our very first game.
Notice his hat??!
Yes, I sent this picture to the Gwinnett Braves rep that donated the hats to us!

The special arch the boys walked through to get their rings ...

Getting ready to go in ...

Coming through ... notice the ode to Cam Newton ...
and the arms raised in victory!  Love!

Love Jarrett's sweet smile ...

Getting their rings ...

Bowdie getting his handshake ... and ring.

Happy faces all around!

And each boy was entered in the American Youth Baseball
Hall of Fame.
We were allowed to leave things to donate -
such as batting gloves, clothing articles, pictures, etc.
Pretty cool!

This was at the championship game.
One of the teams that beat us was in this game ...
told you they were good!
How much do I love this before the game?
All the players watching lined the wall and gave high fives to the 2
teams as they rounded outfield.
Sportsmanship at its finest.

National Anthem

And some fireworks!

It was a great game.

And a great ending to our whole time here.
It will forever be etched in our minds.
Definitely a highlight of childhood for Jarrett.
So incredibly thankful that we could go.
