Zooland

Jacob has really enjoyed the gifted program at Mulberry.

He gets to spend every Monday with a room full of other first graders

doing fun projects, researching new things, and having his brain 'stretched'.

They ended the year with a presentation called 'Zooland'.

Each student picked an animal,

researched it,

and then had to dress like that animal

and read their info.

Jacob was a tiger.

We found a cute idea on the Family Fun website to help with the costume.

He loved every minute!

The bandana over the head was his idea ...

the black pants were some of Blaine's from baseball!

**note to self:  duct tape does NOT stick well to polyester baseball pants.

Reading his facts ...

Here's what he wrote ...

The whole zoo!

With his buds Nicholas (kimodo dragon)

& Will (penguin)

With his buddy Peter (monkey)

**we were losing stripes by the minute!!

What a crew!!
