So here is where the rubber would meet the road.
Bracket play.
Win and keep playing.
Lose and the games were over.
We ended up ranked 42nd out of the 104 teams.
Pretty much dead in the middle.
A good spot.
Crazily enough, we had to play another GA team,
from Cumming, no less!
Unfortunately, the ball just didn't fall our way.
The game was close, but we lost.
It was a heartbreaker to be out so quickly.
Can you see the disappointment?

We had dinner together as a team that night.
It was good for the boys.
By this point, they were still a little sad, but recovering well.
Coach Jeff did a great job talking to the boys about how great they played as a team.
And each of the coach's got a signed ball, in a nice little holder, from the team.
Super special!
And even though the games were over,
the experience wasn't.
The boys stayed at the park and were looking forward to watching the bracket games
all day Thursday,
then enjoying closing ceremonies,
and then the championship game.
Lots of fun left!
